Will this diet help me lose weight?!

Question: Will this diet help me lose weight?
Breakfast
-Large Banana
-Coffee with milk and sugar

Lunch
-Bottled Water
-Ham and cheese sandwich on whole wheat, or Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap.

Supper
-Usually something like two fried eggs with very little butter, between two pieces of whole wheat toast with a slice of cheese in the middle.
-White or Chocolate milk.

If I"m hungry before bed, I throw in an apple with natural peanut butter or honey.

I also take multivitamins and separate doses of the ones I'm lacking.
Will I lose weight? How many pounds per week would you guess. I don't work out.

Answers:

This meal plan seems great and healthy. Depending on your height and weight you could lose 2-3 pounds a week.

I lost quite a lot of weight myself and I learned by experience that by cutting some of the carbohydrates from your diet you can accelerate the fat loss, especially if you cut them during night time! (your body will run on your own body fat during the night as fuel thus burning wayy more fat than if you have carbs in your system).
But in the end, the best advice I can give you is to try different things and see what works for yourself. We are all very different and there is not one unique way to lose weight.

And if you have a desk job, you can still lose weight by increasing your "Non-exercise activity thermogenesis", or in other words by increasing your fidgeting. This way you can increase your energy expenditure for the day. I'll give you some interesting links about that.

Good luck!

I'm no expert, but as long as that's less than what you have been eating (or healthier) then you'll lose weight. I would advise, if you wanted to lose quicker or be healthier, to have less carbs (there is alot of bread -how about rice cakes instead of bread/wraps at lunch? Or a salad-with any fillings jst no bread?) and not to eat at night :( it's generally jst tiredness not hunger, or try drinking water instead. No matter what the meal plans you have sounds fine if ur happy with it and you feel you're making a change :)

that sounds great. I think around 2lb a week perhaps if your average weight.. more like 3lb if your a bit overweight... if your underweight (you shouldnt be trying to lose weight) youd probably either maintain or lose 1lb.

Yes you will lose weight. Maybe 3-4 pounds a week.
