If I climb stairs at 50 stairs an hour... how long will it take for me to burn 6!


Question: If I climb stairs at 50 stairs an hour... how long will it take for me to burn 600 calories?
My goal is to burn about 1800 calories in the gym today, do you think I can do that with 3 hours of stair climbing?

I've never tried it and I don't know if I can do it, but I thought I'd try ...

Answers:

Do not attempt 3 hours of stair climbing if you haven't built up to it. You run the risk of seriously injuring yourself.

1800 calories is also a dangerous amount of calories to lose in one day.

Your body natural consumes and burns roughly 2000 calories a day for just living purposes. An extra 2000 calories could potentially be harmful.



50 stairs an hour?! Less than a stair a minute? Are you sure you're trying to walk or roll up them?!
