Easter basket for a dieter -- need healthy alternatives?!

Question: Easter basket for a dieter -- need healthy alternatives?
I'd like to make up an Easter basket for someone who is on a low-carb, sugar-free diet. Any ideas for what to use to make it pretty and fun without the traditional types of goodies?

Answers:

You can always try the traditional recipes with a slight twist... Like replacing all ingredients with healthier alternatives. Try making your own chocolate eggs or other shapes by adding sweeteners instead of sugar. I browsed for a bit and here are some I found that might be useful to you:

Just keep browsing... those are some I just picked out in a bit of a hurry, but there are many sugar-free low-carb recipes if you have the time to look them up.
I hope I helped a bit :)

Just some ideas....

Are herbal teas allowed? Maybe a box or two, or different flavours in the wee foil packets.

Some sort of organic body care thing, maybe. Depending on the shape, it could take the place of the chocolate rabbit in the middle. If you're in the UK, I can send you a link to an excellent site that is both affordable and chemical-free.

Are hard-boiled eggs allowed?

Any hobbies that you could pick up a few supplies for?

Not very food related, don't know if that's what you want. Just trying to brainstorm some possibilities for you to play off of.

If you're spending more money on one or two items, then scattering paper flowers or something else around to fill out and brighten up the basket is acceptable, IMO.

Trying to avoid sugar, I've made the following baskets for Toke Jr.:

Hot Wheels Themed
Nintendo Themed
Star Wars Themed

Which usually has a bunch of toys, legos, books, & what not...

If the person has a specific interest like gardening say you can put in some trowels, gloves, seeds, gift certificates....really you are only limited by your imagination.

I once saw an Easter basket that contained nothing but candy-scented candles, along with bath salts, potpourri, etc.

Health food stores usually sell a variety of sweets that are sugar free .

Good luck sugar lips.
