whats a low carb-snack i can eat during school breaks? i have the facility to go out during lucnh to buy something. i dont prefer to take out a box of veggies at lunch :/

are flapjacks any good? please advice.

Answers:

Flapjacks are high in protein, high in cal's and low in fat. Depending on the ingredients the item has inside.

Walking down your grocery isle there are sections for Diet Supplement Bars or Nutrition Bars. There are some great choices you can use. Anything high in oats and high in protein and low in fat is good to eat. Stay away from candy bars because its loaded with good and bad sugars.

Although you say no vegetables, eating those are still extremely good for you. Here are the top favorite low-carb snacks that might work for you

Peanut butter
Cheddar cheese
String cheese
Cottage cheese
Broccoli with melted cheese
Salad with free veggies and low-carb dressing
Tomato and mozzarella salad
Celery with peanut butter
Fresh berries with low-fat plain yogurt
Veggies with hummus
Cucumbers with olive-oil and rice vinegar
Carrot sticks
Snap peas with Caesar dressing
Radishes with tzatziki
Green beans cooked and cooled with lemon juice
Nuts
Sautd Spinach
Pickles
sunflower seeds
Rotisserie chicken
Deli meat
Pepperoni and cheese
Beef jerky
Hard boiled eggs

flap jacks are ALL carbs.

i would suggest the fruits and veggies, but if you dont want them... wellll...

im honestly stuck!! low carb diets arent the anwser though. you need SOME carbs in your diet. have a balance and focus on going LOW CALORIES (meaning 1500 max)

try a cup of cheerios, or some sort of cereal, or 100 calories thinsaltions packs:)

good luck:)
