Question: What's a good way to lose belly fat on a guy?
I'm 17. Im pretty healthy. And I have incorporated abdominal workouts to my exercises. And I know cardio is very important. So I so the elliptical 5 times a week for 45 minutes. what's a good way to trim fast quick and easily?

Answers:

Abdominal exercises and a regular cardio routine are both vital if you want to reduce belly fat or just fat in general. However you should be switching your cardio workouts up. Ellipticals are great for increasing endurance and reducing fat in the lower body but running is far superior for eliminating excess stomach fat. Using several different types of machines such as steppers, bikes, versa climbers, stepmills and rowers is also a good idea as it stops the body from getting stuck in a routine and plateauing. As for the duration of the cardio workout I recommend at least 15 minutes light intensity to get warmed up followed by 20-30 minutes of high intensity concluded with a 5-10 minute cool down (you may already be doing this, you just didn't specify in your question).
Now for your diet The National Heart Lung and Blood institute has a great list of meal plans for someone in your position. Not only do the reduce body fat they literally meet every need your body has. The following link will take you there:

Since you are still a teenager you should definitely be choosing the 1600 calorie meal plan. Even that is below what a standard male teenager should be consuming. Therefore you should supplement the diet with tons of fruit (Apples, Bananas, Oranges) as well as some small snacks throughout the day (healthy trail mix like vector cereal or a low sodium fibre bar)
After following a regime like this you may not notice a drastic difference in your body within the first couple weeks. In fact the lowering of calories and increase in physical activity may cause you to feel drained and unmotivated but if you stick with it in 6-8 weeks your body will have changed for the better. By 6 months you`ll probably plateau meaning that your body will achieve a healthy weight. At this time you can start looking at a serious muscle plan as well as different nutritional guide to work alongside this.

It was so really hard for me to lose all that weight. I have tried so many products but they always left me disappointed. After I had my first child, it went down hill after that; I wasn't to lose the weight I put on from maternity and I just started getting depressed. I was considering cosmetic but it was really expensive. A friend of mine told me about these diet products that she used on a daily basis, I thought for a moment god no, it's another one of those, but she looked incredible. So I took her advice & started using them, have been using them for almost 1 and half weeks now. And I was shocked to see that I dropped 8 lbs. I couldnt see much weightloss the first week, but after that I began seeing constant weightloss. I've lost 20 lbs now. I have to tell ya, I feel incredible, and I'm sure my husband loves it. Here is the info: yourdietsecretpoint.tk

I trust my journey will get you motivated, now I just need to maintain the weight off and not fall back into one of those dreadful state again.

It depends on the kind of workout you are doing-- are you altering the resistance on the elliptical? Have you tried varying your workouts so your body doesn't plateau?

Worked at a gym for 2 years
