Question: How come my abbs are rock hard but you cant see my 6 pac?
Answers:

the people you see pictured on magazines
with GORGEOUS six packs

prepare two weeks before the photo shoot
dropping carbs out - and thinning their body fat to
5% or below - you should see them eat AFTER
the shoot - ravenous

so you are in GREAT shape - keep up the good work!

all the best

You almost certainly have one of two problems. Either your body fat percentage is too high or (if you've lost weight recently) they're being covered up by loose skin.

In order to see your abdominals, you have to be very lean. For a woman, this typically means having a body fat percentage somewhere in the range of 12-14%. Healthily losing weight, while maintaining and then later building muscle is the best way to reduce your body fat percentage.

If you already have lost a significant amount of weight, then the problem could be that you have loose skin covering your abdominals. If the amount of weight you lost was not too great (and assuming you are still young), your skin will tighten up eventually. Alternatively, adding further muscle to your abdominals and lower back can help tighten the skin.

I would say because your still have too much body fat. Even though a person is skinny, your body fat usually has to be really low in order for abs to show, and on a strict diet Its harder for women to have a six pack, than a man.

The muscles underneath are not developed. Just like a skinny guy with no biceps......there has to be muscle mass underneath to show.
