How do I eat healthy when my parents won't buy healthy food?!

Question: How do I eat healthy when my parents won't buy healthy food?
I am 16 and I am a girl. My family eats poultry mostly (we don't eat beef or pork), but we buy a lot of greasy, sugary foods. My mom is overweight and my dad is a few pounds, and I am really skinny. I have been having heartburn a lot, and I keep asking them to buy healthier foods. They just say "we do eat healthy" and try to tell me that I am feeling sick because I stay up late and eat (which is not true.) How can I get them to buy healthy food?

Answers:

you just have to eat as healthy as possible..buy a food steamer..and throw in anything you see that is healthy..such as potatoes, carrots, green beans. chicken breast etc...surely they buy somethings healthy..and just tell them you want to eat healthy and lose weight.
when you turn 18..you can get your own job and buy your own food..just tell them you have to eat healthy as you want to get skinnier and be healthy.

dont forget to drink water..as water helps your body in more ways that people realise..helps clean toxins , etc..and increases metabolism..makes you feel better and think clearly too.

the truth is you cant make anyone change their life for the better, your parents have to make the change them self.
i am in a same position where everyone is eating not so healthy with chocolates and sweets and ice cream. i have been eating alot of salads, potatoes, rice, wholemeal bread, cottage cheese and fruit if i ever get the sugar cravings.
so far that has helped me with a mixture of exercise in the morning and sometimes at night for about twenty minutes has done me the world of good and can honestly see quick results in less than a week in which i look like a different person.

Independence?

Just a guess.

Good luck with it. Be strong, and mostly prevail.

go to the store with them and randomly put salad and vegtable and fruits into the cart while they arent looking or just ask for it. thats what i do :D

Say i will not eat these foods if you dont let me i will throw away all these foods OR get money by yourself and buy your own

a lot of times it is not about what you eat, it is how much you eat.
