Question:

Correct position to sleep after an impacted teeth extraction?

1.correct position to sleep after an impacted teeth extraction(my surgery is on lower left 2nd and 3rd molars)
2.will i be having gauze when i sleep the first day.what to do if the gauze becomes dry and stick to the extraction site while i am sleeping?
any technique so i can take out the gauze with out disturbing the clot so as to avoid "dry socket"
plz help.


Answers:

If your mouth gets dry with the gauze in you can swish salt water around your mouth to wet it. Sleep however you are comfortable, just keeping pressure off your left cheek will feel better. there's no magic technique for removing the gauze, just do it gently.
