How can I make a retainer fit?
Well, I havent worn my bottom retainer in quite a while. So, my bottom tooth has kind of turned a bit. So, my bottom retainer doesnt fit now. If I could some how make it a bit bigger, it would fit, but snuggly. How can I make my retainer fit without breaking it? If any one is a dentist or something, that would help a lot. But, other people can give suggestions too. Thank you.

but do you think I can do anything to it? Because my parents arent going to let me get braces again, and my ortho is in FL. I live in NC, but I have an appointment in August and I'm afriad he'll get mad.

Sponge, I cant break it. My parents will kill me, and then we'll have to buy a new one. Retainers cost like 500 dollars, and my parents will take that out of my car fund or make me pay for it. (I dont have the money) So, I guess I'll have to squeeze it in.

the only and wright thing you can do is start to wear it at nights, don´t force it, just use it little by little, this way your teeth get adapted again to the retainer!! sooooo your retainer doesn´t have to grow and change but you teeth will be adapted to their position!
If it doesn´t work, you have to go to your orthodoncist :S
