Answers:

Relax. If you're going under general anesthesia, you will feel no pain. The only thing you will feel is a tiny prick in your arm to put you under. When you wake up, your mouth will be all numb.

You will have to take antibiotics and possibly pain relievers for a few days. If you are biting down on gauze, these can keep everything from touching the sites for a while. Afterward, you will just have to be careful and eat foods that don't involve much chewing or crumbs, like yogurt, pudding, soups, etc.

If you remove the teeth in the morning, your bleeding should stop by night, so you can sleep without the gauze. If you must sleep with gauze, change it every so often and don't let your mouth get too dry. I think the key to keeping the clot sticking to the gauze is to be gentle. Don't bite too hard on them or leave them in too long. Don't let them slip and slide around.

You may be able to go to work the next day, though you may be a bit tired, especially if you are taking pain medication. This is because you might have had a bad night's sleep, and your diet will change, affecting your energy level. Be mindful of your intake to keep your energy adequate.

Good luck!
