What's DR vs DDS?!

Question:

What's DR vs DDS?

What are the meanings and difference between DR. and DDS.

Answers:

"Dr." is how you address anyone who has a doctorate degree in something, such as a Ph.D., an Ed.D., an MD, a DDS, etc.

Dentists in the U.S. and Canada are awarded either a DDS or DMD doctorate degree when they finish dental school. (and no, there is no difference between a DDS and DMD degree.)
