I went to the orthodontics today??

my ortho told me they need to do surgery in 8 wks to move my top jaw back. will i be asleep? if im not asleep what can i do for 45 minutes? will i be given laughing gas? what can i do during laughing gas?

my orthodontist made me hav my gum cutt off. It hurt a bit but nt much coz i was numb
