Dental question...?
A filling on one of my molars chipped a few weeks ago and yesterday the tooth chipped some more. There is no pain, but now I'm missing some of the tooth. Does anyone know what the dentist may do to fix the problem? I already called the dentist and the lady said they would take an x-ray to see what needs to be done, but that's all she told me.

They will probably only cap the tooth or fill it in with selant. It's really unlikly that they would pull it or anything. I chipped my front tooth and they just replaced the missing part with a type of filling that looks exactly like my real tooth.
