Fentanyl for tooth extraction?
anyone else's dentist use fentanyl to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out? he said he was going to use that and it kinda freaked me out, its 80 times more powerful that morphine, and 50 times more powerful than heroin. I read online it can be used instead of an anesthesia? anyone know anything about this thanks.

Actually now adays the oral surgeons and other surgeons are using fentanyl and versed to put people out before surgery. They are doing alot of surgeries in office, and you can go home within 15-30 minutes after. The best thing is you don't have to be intubated. Your not really out, you can respond to commands given. Its perfectly safe and believe me you don't feel a thing nor will you remember anything. Good luck
