Thinner or Thicker Tongues?
Well. While i was in China, one of my cousin told my cousins and i to stick out our tongue. So we did. He said Laijing(my cousin), could be a great MC or hostess when she grows up, because she has a thinner tongue then mine. And he said that i can't speak as fast or smoothly as my cousin, Laijng, because i have a thicker tongue then her's. I'm not sure if this is true but i would like to know if it is.

I also have a BIT of a hard time pronoucing some words. ex. various, variables. etc.

Tongue thickness has nothing to do with agility in lingual movement, unless it is long in relation to the depth of the mid-face, as it is in Down Syndrome and several other craniofacial syndromes. Your cousin is wrong; it's an old wives' tale.
