My 8 year old son has huge front teeth, Braces???
My son's 2 front teeth are large and have a wide gap in the middle. He is all teeth!!!! when can he get some early intervention to close the gap? is there anything like braces/spacers that are available. His first trip to a dentist was a nightmare for him however the dentist said" I hope you are putting pennies in a jar, he will need braces" anyhow he didnt offer any further advice and he was so rude to us that I will never go to him again!
Any suggestions would be great!

I would take him to an orthodontist who is more sensitive and use to being with children especially when it comes to braces. Most insurance companies cover braces with those who are that young if you or your significant other have insurance through work. Check with human resources. It's a shame that his dentist was that rude, I certainly would not go back to that one. You might want to ask your neighbors who have children what dentist they use instead of picking another dentist at random. A good dentist will recommend an orthodontist. Good luck!
