Im about to get braces and i'm really scared?
my cousin told me that braces are really painful and i want to know all about it...i'm really nervous about getting braces..

its not painful when they put the braces on. they're just going to glue on the little metal squares to each tooth. It'll feel really weird at first because they protrude against your cheeks but it'll be ok after you get used to it. it might hurt every time they tighten the wires, but you'll mostly feel a lot of pressure in your gums. The way braces work is the wire wants to be straight, so the teeth rubberbanded to the wires are going to move along it. it may be uncomfortable and a pain to have to deal with, but believe me, it'll be totally worth it when you get it off. :)
