I have had two teeth out.now my gums are very sore,and the air hurts my mouth,?!

I have had two teeth out.now my gums are very sore,and the air hurts my mouth,?

i am 60 years old ive had this for two months, no doc or dentistis help when i go to them , they say my mouth is fine but it is not anyone got any ideas plz??

Dry socket can be very painful, and I do agree that you should find another dentist. If this one has not offered to take an x-ray to out rule some other source for this pain and has not thought of dry socket then I am not sure that I would trust him to make this right. Call around and get a second opinion.
