Drinking beer after getting 2 wisdom teeth pulled?!

Question: Is it a bad idea? The extraction was very easy, and it's only the 2 on my right side...Still a little sore but not enough to take painkillers...The dentist told me not to smoke, gargle water, or use a straw...he didn't say anything about beer though...

Frankly the beer would do you no more harm than drinking water or coffee. The beer contains some alcohol so it may help keep your gums from becoming infected some. Just sip slowly and no gulping it down.

So bottoms up

The real only problem is with any sucking action. If you drink your beer through a straw or "suck" it out of the bottle you should not having problems.

The sucking action will pull the clot out of the hole where your tooth was and be very painful.

yeah, not a good idea until those gaping holes in your jawline heal up.

Do it!
Do it NOW!

Hell no!!! It's a great idea!
Actually there's really no problem with it as long as you follow the rest of the instructions.
great to see you doing so well after the extractions.
Take care.
