Born without Wisdom teeth? POSSIBLE?!
Question: I went to the orthodontist on several occassions and I have had many x-rays done for my teeth. This was during the time that I had my braces. The interesting thing is that I was born without wisdom teeth. Meaning they will never come out becasue they dont exist... Is that possible? That's what the orthodontist told me.

Yes it is. Slowly but surely fewer and fewer people are having wisdom teeth. both myself, my brother, my mother and my maternal grandfather do not have wisdom teeth. Consider your self lucky!

My mother never did get wisdom teeth. Unfortunately I had all 4 and they were impacted so I had to have them all removed. very painful and costly.

Doesn't mean that you don't have any wisdom (sounds like you got plenty) so don't worry about that.

Yup! I only have 1 1/2 of them. The bottom right one is only half. of it and doesn't look the the other half will ever come in. And the top left one is full. The funny thing is, I had those as long as I can remember! I don't remember a time I didn't have those!
Yes, that happens. I don't have any on the bottom either. And my top ones are so far up into my skull, it's not worth it to get them removed.
