How much did you pay?
Was it painful, if so how painful?
How long did you have to wear them for?
Can you talk normal with them on?

In my area, the cost is similar or slightly higher than traditional braces, somewhere around $4800 - 5600. If only minor adjustments are needed and you qualify as a candidate, there is the "express" treatment which costs less and takes only about 6 months. Average treatment times run from 10 months to 16 months.
You can speak normally with them on after the first few days when your body is adjusting to them. Yes, there is discomfort (after all, teeth are being moved), however it does get better a few days after each new aligner is inserted (new set every 2 weeks). I personally found the first few set of aligners to be the most uncomfortable. After that, when I start a new set, I only feel the pressure for a day or two. If you can take ibuprofin, that would be a good pain reliever because it also helps with inflammation. And.... smoothies are great meals those first few days.
