I need to get a palate expander but I'm already 14! How does the ortho know my palate hasn't already fused??

I just went for a second opinion. She had my X-Ray from Spetember. Looking for another 14 year old girl who has had a palate expander.

i don't have one but my friend just got one last year when she was 14. and my brother got one when he was 15. another one of my friends doesnt have one yet but will be soon and shes almost 15.
i don't think the fact that your 14 is a problem
