Do I need braces again or is something wrong with my retainer?!

Question: I got my braces off 4 years ago. I had them for 2 years. I knew when I got them off that there was one tooth that wasn't quite perfect but it didn't bother me. Now that Im a junior in high school almost everyone has got theirs off and have pretty much perfect teeth. And ive noticed how mine are not as perfect as they can be (which sucks cuz I had them for 2 years). When you see my smile from the side, one of my teeth is partly on top of another and my front teeth aren't exactly on the same plane ( if I run my finger across, it will hit a small bump). I have been wearing my retainer less and less becaue its been 4 years. But now the top one is really loose. Its been loose for awhile but I always disregarded it. My bottom one fits perfectly (and hurts whenever I wear it which shows its working). The top one is really loose especially and i cant fix it cuz im sleeping. Do I need braces (i want invisalign) again becuase maybe its just that doctor didnt do good job or is it th retainer

1. wear your retainers

2. you probably need braces or invisilign to correct that.

i just asked my dentist today if i could get a retainer to fix one tiny imperfection and he said he would have to refer me to an invisilign orthodontist.

Im pretty sure youd have to see your orthodontist/ dentist so that they can literally see your teeth and tell you!

i dont know. i think you should ask your dentist....i think the braces came off to early.... and the retainer needs to be checed out aswell.

good luck :)

idk
but what i do know is that i am kind of in the situation, i made them take my braces off after them taking them off 3 times and said they were going to have to do it again. (i have been getting them on and off since 3rd grade) My retainers kind of still fit but my teeth are rearanging bact to what they were b4

just go back to the ortho and they will tell you what to do

they did a fine job, your retainer must have gotten bent up somehow, therefore its not doing a good job with your teeth
just call them up and stop by, the docs will tell you what to do
