Can anyone tell me how to get food out of my wisdom wooth cavity?!?!

Can anyone tell me how to get food out of my wisdom wooth cavity?!?

I got my lower wisdom tooth removed 3 days ago, and apart from a little nasty pong (normal i think), all has been great. Today (help!!) i've got some food stuck in the cavity and i don't know how to get it out, without sticking my finger in the hole and trying to dig - obviously a bad idea. Someone help!! Also, shuld i still have a hole (my upper wisdom teeth holes seemed to heal over much more quickly, but perhaps this is false memory).

don't try to dig it out. you should gargle with warm salt water. make sure all the food particles come out. when i got my wisdom teeth pulled out, i gargled and if i still had food stuck inside, i gargled some more until it came out. if you have stitches (most likely you do), it will eventually come out or "disappear".

my first bottom wisdom tooth, i was rinsing my mouth and the thread came out. the second time around, i guess it disappeared on its own or maybe i just didn't notice that it came out when i gargled or something. my upper wisdom teeth holes did heal up quicker than the bottom ones.
