and do they whiten your teeth after they take the braces off? if they do , do the chrage you or is it for free? lol
Answers:
No, you don't have to pay for the retainer- it's included. However, if you lose or break the retainer, you will half to pay over $100 to get it replaced! They will also put in a "permanent retainer" on the backs of your lower teeth... It does not cause any discomfort, it's kind of like having 4 mini braces on the back of them!
To answer your second question, they do not whiten your teeth after you get your braces off. They do clean them very well, polish them, and file them. I didn't have a single stain on my teeth when I got my braces off =] So if you have good hygeine, you won't either. And they don't charge you for that either.. In fact, my orthodontist gave me a goody bag with tons of chewy, sticky and hard candy. And popcorn! And I ate it all that same day! LOL. Congrats, by the way!
