No, not much pain... they POP them off with some strange tool... not like they just yank them off of your teeth.... it kind of sounds like they are breaking your teeth your teeth or something... the noise was all that weirded me out. but it was a very easy procedure, and i was surprised with how fast it was. your teeth do feel "slimy" afterwards, because you forget how smooth teeth really are. try to resist running your tounge over them constantly, as i kept doing this, but soon realized how dumb it looks. sometimes your teeth are a little discolored after they come off because of the glue that they use, but it should go away, whitening toothpaste helps. also, if you're doing that tounge thing (which you inevitably will) and you feel a little rough spot, they probably missed some of the glue. don't be afraid to go back and have them get it off (painless and takes about 2 minutes) they should do it for free. hope this helps! enjoy your new smile!!!!!!!!

it doesnt really hurt.... its kinda uncomfortable, because your teeth are still kinda loose and they sometimes have to push and pull to get the brackets off...
it didn't hurt me at all and i was only 11 when i got mine taken off. din't worry about it besides it's all worth it when your teeth look perfect! good luck!!!
when i got mine taken off my teeth were sore for like a day...the next day they were fine.
Not really. The only part that freaked me out was the tension, because they really pull the brackets off like that and you can feel like the yank.
Then they scratch off the glue and put this whitening stuff on your teeth, so your teeth look REALLY white. But give it a day or two, and your real teeth color show, aha I know mine wasn't as white as it looked when I first got my braces off.

it's not even as uncomfortable as having them tightened
i was scared when i got there but in the middle i found that if you think it s gona hurt it hurts but if you just relaxe it will be over before you know it and it wont hurt!
It will feel wonderful (you won't believe how smooth your teeth feel...), but a little strange - your teeth will feel a little loose, so if that bothers you, try to put your retainer in for a while. Remember to wear your retainer at night so you keep your smile! And think how good it will feel to not brush with braces...ugh...I hope it goes well!
