i broke my tooth playing football awhile back and the did a root canal on it. They say if it breaks again, i will get a bridge what is that and does it hurt?
Answers:
What they would do is pull the tooth that had a root canal. They then put in a false tooth and attach it to the two teeth on either side. It is permanent, and from what patients have told me, no it doesn't hurt. It does take a little while to get used to though. It basically keeps the outside teeth from drifting together and lets you have a sort-of replacement tooth. Lost of people have them. They aren't any big deal.
