Is there anyway to beat the system when it comes to braces?

okay. i'm a senior now. i know i need braces. if anything, atleast on my top teeth. my mom took me to a orthadonist and he said that i need them. but then we got that all kids insurence and they sent us all the way to springfiel to a place that they covered. after impressions and the trips out there to fill out papers and everything they ended up telling me that i didn't have enough points. but my teeth are just so horrible i can't see how thats possible. but i don't know, is there a way to get around this? should i just try again or something. i have my senior pics soon? =[ help???

i don't want lumineers or crowns. i just need braces to get rid of the spaces in my top teeth. although that would be fast, i am only ***seventeen*** and i don't want to do ne thing i will regret later. it's this stupid insurence crap! =[

lumineers fall off in time arent as permenant as crowns..they might not give you
lumineers because your younger,younger adults,under19,tend to be denied lumineers at that age,crowns could be a better bet and are more permenant, last alot longer, ask your dentist his plan about that option and if he could help you out that way..
