Thats probaly why, you got hit in the face with a ball. And tell your dentist there is always somthing they can do to fix things, And mabye dont try to apply pressure if you can help it chew on the other side of your mouth, and dont play with it out of boredom or becuase its bothering you, try and push it up every two or three days, dont let it become loser then it is, and just by a lucky chance, it may be a baby tooth (hyopefully)

See a dentist or doctor quick before you lose the tooth or suffer anymore pain. If it does fall out keep it in milk so it has a chance of being reattatched.

There's no way obviously I can tell whether you have a cavity or not. But esp. if your braces were recently adjusted it's very common for a tooth to be tender to biting pressure as they move. You should certainly mention this to your orthodontist, but I'd bet it's OK.
It's even more important now to maintain good oral hygiene, as the braces will trap food and dirt. Often the gum near the archwires and brackets will become swollen. You should make sure you try your best to brush between the wires and the gums. You may see some bleeding, but if you don't keep it clean it will only become more inflamed. Unless the brackets and/or wires are really close to the gum you should see the gums toughen up in a few days.

Good luck,

The volleyball maybe just loosened it. If your lucky it may stay
