Is antiseptic/antibacterial mouthwash bad for you?!

Question: Because I'm finding it hard to find bottles that aren't.

Answers: Because I'm finding it hard to find bottles that aren't.

If you are regular with your tooth brushing regime ie you brush twice a day - in the morning and before going to bed and also if you daily do tongue-cleaning, there is absolutely no point in using these antiseptic/antibacterial mouthwashes. Yes, of course, we do prescribe it to some patients for a couple of days when they are suffering from some acute infections in the mouth.
PS....I have never used any antiseptic/antibacterial mouthwash even though I get so many free samples..
I sincerely trust you have got the answer to your question..

Most antiseptic / antibacterial mouthwashes are good for you.

Exceptions exist of course, for example if you were to be allergic to the constituents of the mouthwash.

Only if you drink it.

not according to the blurb on the label.

Did you know that using this product is 50% better than brushing alone. So in other words using mouhtwash is only half as good as brushing your teeth.

They are actually very good when used in conjunction with a daily brushing and flossing routine. The best mouthwashes nowadays also gently remove the surface stains on teeth and whiten as they kill bacteria...sweet!! Just make sure that they are never swallowed as they contain alcohol and can cause a positive test in a breathalyzer exam.
Also, if in a bind, Listerine mouthwashes can be used as a small wound cleanser and skin astringent!
