Root canal????!

Question: I need a root canal and I have a marilyn bridge attached to the tooth I need it on. Do you think it will break my bridge? If for some reason they can't do the root canal would they have to pull my tooth? What are some reasons they wouldn't be able to do it?
Thanks, I'm very anxious about dental work.

Unless a dentist removes it then yes it would most likely break. It should be removed first to prevent any further complications. The RCT will render your tooth brittle. It most advisable to get a full crown veneer to completely encapsulate your treated tooth.

If all hope fails, then it would be extracted. But extraction should be the last option to preserve it. Although there is no reason it can't be done.

Hope this helps.
