Best Way to Whiten Teeth?!

Question: I'm looking for a good, over the counter method for whitening teeth. Preferably something relatively inexpensive, as I am a poor college student. What products are the best? Any tried-and-true home methods?

I have had my teeth professionally bleached, and tried tons of stuff, and I just got this stuff "Plus White" and it is AMAZING. Get the full kit with the Whitening, the Prewhitening Rinse and the Whitening Tray. Use 2 times a day for 2 weeks, then reduce to once a day. Use for 5-15 minutes depending on the severity of staining. It is the best stuff I have used!

Baking soda

baking soda

brush your teeth...that works for me

crest white strips work pretty well

I know listerine made a whitening liquid, and I dont believe its too expensive. you just use it before you brush your teeth

rub common salt with mustard oil

White out

baking soda

The best, most effective way would have to be those Crest Whitening Strips. I've seen them work on so many people and there teeth are as white as snow (and not the yellow snow either) lol!

I use baking soda and a few drops of. hydrogen peroxide. I try and bush with this at least 2 times a week. During the week I use any toothpaste that has whitening ingredients. I have really white teeth.

I've also heard that rinsing with peroxide helps, but I've never tried it. If you do, be very careful to immediately rinse with water so you don't swallow any - it's really dangerous. I've also heard that baking soda helps - mix it with a little water to make a paste, or just wet your toothbrush and dip into a bowl of the soda.

I've never used an expensive bleaching product, but here's how I keep my teeth white.

1. Use a whitening toothpaste and whitening mouthwash twice a day - make them last, you hardly need much to do the job. Brush well.
2. Floss. Stuff stuck between the teeth can stain more becuase it's just sitting there for who knows how long.
3. Chew whitening gum after meals or after drinking dark liquids (coffee, tea, colas).
4. Watch what you eat, some foods can prevent stains. Light colored foods such as bananas, apples, and potatoes won't cause stains. Veggies such as broccoli actually create a protective barrier against staining (it's only short term, say for the current meal).
5. Don't smoke, and watch your alcohol intake. Also, try not to eat too much sugar - anything that can weaken your teeth makes them more prone to damage and staining.

Mine don't glow like porcelain caps, but their the whitest I've ever seen without treatment. If you want to try Whitestrips, look in your local paper ads, I'll occasionally see coupons for $5-10 off.

The best way to whiten teeth might be just around the corner. Be on the right track in whitening teeth - one with quicker, visible and healthy glowing results. Find it at http://www.maximumteethwhitening.com/ and see that amazing bright smile in a minimum time.
