My Teeth! What's Happening?!

Question:

My Teeth! What's Happening?

I've always had a perfect smile. It was always white, my gums were always healthy, I've only had 1 Cavity ever, my gums are pink not red, but yesterday, I noticed that the gum below my two lower front teeth, when i take my finger nail, I can kind of feel the gum and it's not completely 'attached' to the teeth! What's happening? Does everyone have this? It's attatched, just like the tips of it kind of. I can't exactly explain it, but if you know what I mean, PLZ HELP ME!

Answers:

Perhaps you have bruised your gums, since you said you always have had perfect teeth then it is obvious that some form of a trauma to your gums. Maybe food you ate yesterday or day before, and I do not believe that you smoke because your question sounds as if you have been proud of your perfect smile and all -Congratulations!! If you have the time and or a relationship (professional) with a Dentist - make an appointment as soon as you can to see him/her. You also may want to wait 1 or 2 days to see if it clears up. Your first answer was just a guess, your second answer was just nonsense. I am not a Dentist, so depending on you knowing your condition prior and currently, you MUST make the decision yourself - gums do have a purpose, and I personally floss, use an electric toothbrush and accidentally overdone the process to where your condition has happened to myself. It has usually happened when I brush or eat something with either a bone in it or popcorn. Gargle with water and salt (this usually heals the gums) and do remember if it bothers you - see a dentist. Hope this helps and good Luck!! By the way, answer #1 is guessing and answer #2 is just spam!!! Do the best to keep your fingernails away (as hard as it is) away from feeling the gums for now.
