MY MOUTH... help please.?!

Question:

MY MOUTH... help please.?

only one little part of my gumline is swollen. only about a 1/8 inch not much. but its next to a tooth that has a cavity. and sometimes it bleeds a little from between the teeth... what does this mean?

Answers:

you may have something stuck in the gum, popcorn kernels are common. try flossing.

also, if it is swollen and bleeding, you may have a minor infection. put a little hydrogen peroxide on a Q-tip and try to get it into the gum. do this at least 4 times a day.

gargling with warm salt water helps.

try brushing your teeth for a couple of weeks with a soft toothbrush and little bit of baking soda. not a lot, because too much will tear up your gums, just enough to barely cover the top of the wet toothbrush and you don't have to brush very hard.

baking soda has a very mild antibiotic action and it will really whiten your teeth.

it's cheap, too.
