If the pain is in the back of your mouth and where your wisdom teeth are to come in at and it really hurts bad for a while then goes away and comes back again months later. Wisdom teeth pain comes and goes on and off usually for years until you get them all or if you don't have room for them and have to have them cut out. Thats what everyone in my family had to do was have their's cut out. Good luck and best wishes.
you normally get ear ache also when it is a wisdom tooth up the back on the top...other than that it can also feel like your jaw joint is hurting
With a procedure called desensitization it can be done. It's somewhat a differential diagnostic procedure done by the dentist.
You could do it yourself by getting a piece of ice and put it on your teeth one at a time. You should distinguish the pain source easily. Plus a wisdom tooth normally erupts at 18-21 years old.
