Can you still have a wisdom tooth eruption when your 25 years old or older?!

Question: A wisdom tooth or 3rd molar usually erupts from 18-21. Although there are some cases which defy these findings. No matter, because of evolutionary factors it has been found out that age occurence of eruption has escalated.

Before they even have 4th and 5th molars. That explained why the Homo erectus has a far exaggerated forward projection of their jaws.

Finding also tells us that a wisdom tooth should always be extracted. Now that's another question...

Hope that helped.

I was about 27 when mine finally popped through. Man that sucked!

I did. I think I was 28 when my bottom 2 erupted.

yes, my aunt is 42 and just had one

YEP!!

yep, i'm 23 (nearly 24) and one of mine is just starting to come through, its my 2nd, so i still have another 2 to go!

After 25 they are pretty much in their final position. If your are partially erupted the dentist will most like recommend you getting them pulled for several reason.

if you didnt have them removed when they first started then yes ! get them removed asap!

Indeed I was 54 and 3 weeks before an international flight...

Yes. Some never erupt. Mine came out when I was around 20.

Yes, you can I had them when I was 30. It was pretty uncomfortable ....you wont die...he he he
