Root canal-Tooth pull?!

Question: :Has your tooth ever fell out after a root canal?
Is it better to get a root canal or a tooth pull because i do no know which one to choose
Is it worth my money or is it just goin to cost more money in the end if i would of just pulled it?

Tooth pulling is better. Root canals are just a scam to get you to come back and spend moneybecause in the end they HAVE to pull it (or what's left) and the pain doesn't go away forever. Get it pulled your mouth will apppreciate it more.

root canal is the best
tooth pull hurts a lot and numbs ur whole face for a day

Depending on the tooth....
If the tooth can be salvaged you most definitely don't want to pull it. If there isn't a lot of decay after the procedure is done a crown will be put over the tooth and it should be as good as new. Pulling the tooth and having to get a implant to replace it, is pretty costly as well. If the tooth is infected, I'm sure that would probably be the best alternative.
Just think of it like this...if you broke your arm would it be better to get it cut off or invest in getting a cast? You wouldn't go through the hassle of doing that with your arm, so why would you want to do that with your teeth.
It all depends on the condition of the tooth.

Good Luck :o)

i lost a small part (like very little) after a root canal. I was going to have the tooth pulled because it was the 2ND to last one but my dentist had me get the root canal, he said it was much better to try and keep the tooth, also the sooner you have a cape put on the less likely for breakage. It will be more expensive, however I would say it would be better just to keep the tooth and try and save it, or else you will have to end up getting a bridge put in and you run a higher risk of your teeth moving out of alignment.

Hello,
Pulling a tooth is fine, however you will have to deal with the root if it gets infected or heavens forbids it gets exposed.
I found out I have very narrow canals and a root canal did not take for the dentist did not get the root or block it or whatever they do.
Make sure your dentist is a good one. Have had several root canals and teeth pulled. Not fun and spendy!
Wish you well!

Root Canal treatment is a great procedure in restoring a tooth. If your dentist recommends root canal and you are being assured that it's worth keeping, then do it.You don't want to end up wearing dentures...they are very hard to wear.We have patients that were skeptical about RC treatment at first but when it was done...they were happy with it. Keep your natural teeth as long as you can...if you keep on pulling your teeth...i think you'll be in a bigger trouble. Root canal is not a scam at all.It might be costly, but it is really a big help in keeping your teeth for a very long time.Remember...it's not easy wearing dentures....and dental implants can cost you a lot more... GOOD LUCK.
