Pain in mouth?!

Question: i have pain in my left cheek not that much in day time but verry bad at night its like some one driving a nail in my cheek pain can come and go if i drink somthing hot it can go away i wake up at night with pain like 4 to 6 times my doctor said its Trigeminal Neuralgia if anyone had anything like this they can help ty
