next to the microwave, on top of the fridge, in the pantry, on the shelf above the wash and dry, next to the tv
behind the appliances, in drawers, between the coushin of the couch or chair, behind your bed, in the trash.

You lost it, you find it. No one can be this careless. Stop and think where you were and what you were doing the last time you can remember having it and then go search. If you have to disassemble your entire room, then that is what you have to do. Get searching!
think of the last place you took then off and look everywhere in that area.
I worked with a lady whose husband found his retainer 20 years after losing it in the 70s. It was stuck in the shag carpet in his old room.
My cousin put hers in a napking at Red Lobster, and the bus boy threw it away.
Look on the sink in the bathroom.
look in the couch or chair cushion.....
or in the bathroom trash can....
