Natural teeth whiteners?!

Question:

Natural teeth whiteners?

also what makes teeth...not white? so i can avoid them

i heard strawberries whiten teeth, is that true?

Answers:

The normal color of enamel varies from light yellow to grayish white. At the edges of teeth where there is no dentin underlying the enamel, the color sometimes has a slightly blue tone. Since enamel is semitranslucent, the color of dentin underneath the enamel strongly affects the appearance of a tooth. Dentin is a yellowy-brown-orange color.
So you can see, teeth are not naturally white.
I have never heard of strawberries whitening teeth. Hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide are what dentists use to whiten teeth.
Ageing, coffee, tea, cola, red wine, smoking, use of antibiotic Tetracycline when teeth are developing have all been implicated in darkening teeth.
