How soon do dry sockets heal???!
Question: it hurts bad. My face is all swolen up and oh gosh the pain is just unbearable. I CANT STAND IT. I am at least 80% sure that i have dry sockets and i'm checking them tommorrow. When will it go away after the dentist does his stuff.

The pain is really bad I know. Just make sure you get into the dentist's office asap. When I called the oral surgeon's office they told me to come in right away. So I had to drive myself(in so much pain I wanted to kill somebody). Well, once I got there, they packed the sockets with a gauze that contained clove oil and some other ingredients. I started to feel better after a few minutes and within an hour, my pain was mostly gone. I had to go in for the next couple of days to get new gauze packed in though. I know how bad it is. That really depends on the individual. If you listen to the Dentist and do as he or she says you should feel better in 24 hr. it will heal in 5 to 7 days. If you do not listen it will be longer and more Pain full
Are you a smoker? Tell the dentist if you are. They should go away soon as long as an infection doesnt occur.
