Get a cup of hot tap water and get two table spoons of cooking salt and rinse while the water is hot. I promise it will help your tooth ache. I always do that and it heals the pain away instantly.

take 600 - 800 mg of ibuprofen evey 4 - 6 hrs for the pain

take some vicaden.

Don't think about the pain

take some asprin. It worked for me.

This usually works.

Take your shoes and socks off.
Pick up a brick.
Hold it above your head.
Drop said brick on to your right foot.

Repeat with your left foot.

Outcome - what toothache?

Ibuprofen and co-codamol. The ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory, the co-codamol is paracetamol and codeine, which will help with the pain. check the boxes to make sure you can take them first though.

Take some tylenol. If it's really bad, you might want to contact your dentist.
But yes, it is normal for the tooth to be even more unhappy right after the filing was done. It should get better in a couple of days.

It can take a couple of weeks for the pain of a deep filling to settle during which time Ibuprofen should help take the edge off.

the ibuprophem might help. you could try calling your dentist and asking for pain reliever. ask your mum, she may have something. in the uk you can get low dose codiene over the counter. rinse carefully with warm salty water, drink some alcohol if you have nothing else and go to sleep. hopefully it'll be better tomorrow or else call your dentist.

Three ibuprofen will probably take care of it for tonight, and by tomorrow you should be fine.

Chew some paracetamol and take a couple of ibuprofen (don't chew that though). It's safe to take both together but don't do it with aspirin. You could also use clove oil. Hope you feel better soon.

don't want to worry you, but it might be touching a nerve. if it's not right in a few days go back as soon as you can. sorry it's happening at Christmas.
same thing happened to my mate 2 years ago. the dentist thought it were an abscess and put her on anti-biotics. it ruined her Christmas, eventually an emergency dentist said the filling was touching a nerve. she ended up losing the tooth.
anyway, have a good Christmas! lol

If it's not any better in the morning, get straight back tae the dentist and tell him ye urr still in pain. This happened tae me many moons ago and it turned oot that ma tooth hudnae been filled properly!! In the meantime, a couple o' co-codamol tablets or an Askit powder(if ye can get them where ye are) should gie ye some relief. Guid luck............
