crowns are these things that they put on your molars in the back of your teeth, they're like gray and they hurt for the first few days. a bracket is this little thing to fasten the wire. yep, it HURT for me LOL but afterwards, i dont even realize it. good luck. im going back on the 28th in chinatown to get new wires. the wires hurt cuz they put so much pressure on you... but yeah... you'll survive =) eat oatmeal or something soft during those few days and brush carefully!
i have braces.
the crown goes over your molars so it can hold the wires.
brackets are the little squares they glue onto your teeth.

Yeah braces are painful, only when they tighten them though.
Whenever they tighten them it hurts painfully for like a week.
It doesn't hurt much while your getting them on but....
it will be painful after a few hours or next day. it will feel sore for a few days and it's hard to bite down during that time
but the pain won't last long
but i dont know what a crown or bracket is...sorry
Don't worry- i had braces and they never hurt. but when you get the wires tightened it can be a bit uncomfortable. Good Luck- you'll be fine! :-D
OMG!!! I JUST got braces 2 days ago!!! LOL No it DOESN'T hurt when they put them on, but it does hurt after while! Mine hurt still!! It's because your teeth have to get used to them.
Hey I get mine the same day! Do you have your spacers in? I do! Anyways, idk what a crown is but the bracket is what is glued to your teeth and the colorful things (what you change the color every month) holds it in place! I hope you go through it well! P.S. I heard they hurt for about a week!
