M'am, sometimes just a single dose a couple of hours before going to the dentist. The best is to consult your physician about it and act accordingly and then take your antibiotics in consultation with your dentist....ie as per his approval and as per the appointment schedule. Dont worry.....these days mostly the taking antibiotics so and so many days before the dental procedure is outdated.
One hour before your appointment was the recommendation prior to April 2007. Now most of those who were required to take antibiotics are no longer required to do so. Check with your MD to see if they still want you to. Good Luck
