Can you have left over glue on teeth with braces on?!


Question: I think i have glue left on top of my brackets.
Do you agree that it might be glue because it is white, smooth and shiny and in blob shapes

it's not acutally GLUE
it's called cement
and it's used to stick the braces on your teeth

go to your dentist or orthodontist and he can scrape it off for you, it hurts, but it takes about 2 minutes

It could be. If it's not blocking the brackets where the wires slide in and out, and it's not hurting you, it's probably not a big deal. If it's bugging you, just ask your orthodontist about it next time you're in for an appointment!

Yeah, I remember that. Like, you have braces now right? If it's just a little bit I don't think it's anything to worry about. If it really bothers you you could get the dentist to buff/scrape it off - but check to make sure he'll do it for free. Otherwise you may just want to wait until your next visit.
