What Happens If You DOn't Floss Your Teeth?!

Question: I don't floss because it hurts and don't like pain

Answers: I don't floss because it hurts and don't like pain

allow plaque to remain in between teeth it eventually hardens into a substance known as tartar. Unlike plaque which can be easily removed by brushing, tartar can only be removed by your dentist.
Over time, levels of more dangerous types of bacteria build up within tartar. Mean and vengeful, these bacteria produce toxins which irritate and inflame the gums. This condition is known as gingivitis. If gingivitis is left untreated it can progress to periodontal disease - a condition where bacteria and their toxins invade not only the gums but also the bones and the structures supporting the teeth. This can lead to bone loss, loose teeth, and teeth which fall out.
We recommend Glide or any other coated dental floss because they slide easily between teeth. However, any floss that you can get between your teeth and which does not fray or break easily is good.
Alternatively, if you don't like using dental floss, consider an interdental cleaner (electric flosser) which makes flossing easy and convenient.
If you haven't flossed in a while, you may see a little red tinge of blood on the floss after you use it. This indicates that your gums are slightly inflamed and vastly in need of flossing to remove bacteria. With a regular regimen of flossing this red tinge should go away.
By brushing and flossing we help to eliminate the bacteria which can lead to bad breath, gingivitis, and periodontal disease thus creating smiles which last a lifetime.

You should only floss the teeth you want to keep!

you die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... LOL jk

c

you get plaque

You'll get cavities between your teeth and have to go to the dentist and get them filled. (They will drill the decay out and then fill them in) Believe me, flossing is must less painful than having to get 4-5 shots in your mouth so that it will be numb enough to get fillings.

Posted in my dentist's office:

You dont have to floss your teeth
Just the one's you want to keep

You are left with some food stuck in between two teeth for a while.

u can eat the left over food in ur mouth the next day!!! jkjk :D

you get a lot of plaque build up between your teeth. If it hurts to floss, then you need to see a dentist because something is wrong. Go get your teeth cleaned every 3 months for about a year, and you will probably begin to have less pain when you floss. If you don't take care of your teeth now, you won't have any when you get older.

you can get gingivitus. i hurts because your gums are inflammed from the plaque underneath your gums and the lack of flossing and better brushing. i know it hurts, but actually the more you do it, the bettter they get. they might bleed they might sting, but really it becomes better. you should go to a dentist and get a really good cleaning and then start from there.

cavities
which i hate when they fill it in
take the time to floss
so you won't have to take the time to visit your dentist
cavities are baaaaaaaaaaaad
so floss!!!

i have cavities almost in every tooth
because i didn't floss :(

You need to floss and see a dental hygenist regularly. You get plaque and gingivitis - infammation of the gums- which could lead to teeth falling out!.

If it hurts to do it then you may be doing it wrong but you likely have inflamation under the gum line.

you WILL die!

you will get cavities between your teeth then if left untreated your teeth will start to decay on the sides and it will look really icky! believe me!

Your breath starts smeeling really bad!

You can get cavities and gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) which can eventually lead to loss of teeth. Flossing hurts and gums bleed when your gums are not healthy. They make very thin floss which is a lot easier to work with. I use Crest Glide; it is more expensive than regular floss, but it is easy to use especially if your teeth are close together. Make sure you have the waxed kind, whatever you use. If you floss every day, your gums won't bleed and it won't hurt. It might take awhile to get to that point if you've been neglecting your teeth. Make sure you get your teeth cleaned twice a year. Good luck!

You type like THis.
