Tooth problems?!

Question: my tooth is cracked completely in half. this happened yesterday at a christmas party but i didn't notice until today. I haven't had time to call my dentist today, but do you think i should try and wiggle out both halves of the tooth? Because they are both loose. Or should I just call my dentist tomorrow and don't even try to get my tooth out ? My filling in my tooth fell out earlier too but im not in any pain. What should i do? (:

Since you are not in pain, it does not appear to be an emergency. Please note that never try to remove this broken tooth yourself.......it can be dangerous, simply because of the fact that if you are not able to control the result which normally will do so effortlessly. Secondly, suppose you try but are unable to do so but in the process make it so shaky further that it starts hurting or danger of its ingestion becomes imminent. So, please do to the dentist tomorrow. It appears from your description that it will have to be pulled out by the dentist. Dont panic, please. Merry Christmas!!

I'm a bit surprised there is no pain. Generally teeth that crack in half and where the segments move they tear into the gum and periodontal tissues. I would not try to remove the pieces myself.

Yea go see your dentist asap!

dont try to wiggle it out......call your dentist and get in as soon as you can so he can work on it....prob gonna be a root canal......but if your try to wiggle it out..you might end up with a horrible absces..then you really will have pain....
