Brushing after Citric Fruits?!

Question: Do you brush straight after eating them or wait half-an-hour?
Is it bad if you wait too long?

Thanks

You should wait for at least 30 mins. This gives your saliva a chance to nullify the effects of the acid erosion and to retoughen your teeth. If you brush too soon, the enamel is still soft and you will wear some pf it away.

Citric acid can break down tooth enamel.

you can do either really, brushing after citric fruits is better than nothing i would tend to wait 15-20 mins but waiting to long would let the nasties have a party, go keep those molars munching!!

I think you're supposed to wait 20 mins or so, because otherwise it stays in your mouth. Maybe drinking lots of water would help if you didn't have 20 mins to wait before you went out or something.
