Question: give you an electric toothbrush when you got braces? What else did they give you? Name all please? If no electric toothbrush, what about regular toothbrush?

i got a specific regular toothbrush that i had to get a new one every 3 months which was like 10 dollars a brush. soo overpriced.
i got a box of wax, a tube of toothpaste, dental floss, a list of what and what not to eat, youre choice of pain meds and a magnet.
When I got braces, my orthodontist gave me an electric toothbrush, things to help with dental flossing, and mouthwash.
I didn't get an electric toothbrush but i got differet medicines to numb my mouth and braces flossers and wax a a refridgerator magnet that says all the foods i cant eat, and a regular toothbrush
My ortho gave me a christmas tree (the little mini toothbrush thing shaped like a christmas tree to get food out of braces easily), some orajel stuff to numb my gums if they are too painful, and some cheap toothbrush and that was it. Oh, I think he gave me so me some small sample packets of peroxyl.
i did not get an electric toothbrush, it really depends on how well your orthodontist's business is and if hes able to afford giving how electric toothbrushes suitable for brushing braces, then thats great. but commonly orthodontists will not have those, and will recommend a toothbrush that you should buy that would be great to brush your mouth if you have braces.
my orthodontist recommended like a $125 dollar toothbrush, so yeah,its not gonna be cheap.
they should be welcoming to give you wax at any time or tylenol/any type of medicine to help relieve pain in your mouth.
so basically, i got, a regular toothbrush, floss, wax, and tylenol.
i cant say if your orthodontist will offer this, unless hes really tight up about money, but he definetely should, as most commonly all orthodontists do.
