How often do I change the rubberbands on my braces?!

How often do I change the rubberbands on my braces?
My orthodonist said I should take them out when I eat, but he did not say if I put new ones in then or just everyday.
Answers:
Change them eveytime you eat and when you brush your teeth. Make sure not to take them out when snacking though and sleep with them on.
